You can’t imagine how much fun it is to find orders from your ecommerce web site in your email until you do. Every time you’ll open your email you’ll have the same kind of fun anticipation as you have when scratching off a lottery ticket, only your odds will be substantially higher of finding money!

The trick to making your web business a reality lies in pacing yourself and ignoring any distractions. If you are able to do those two things, you can run several websites while working on creating others ALL BY *YOURSELF*. How do you do it?

1. Allott so much time each day to accomplish specific business tasks. A little bit here and a little bit there steadily adds up.
2. Tune out any distractions during your alloted home Internet business work time.

A common daily source for distractions to an Internet marketer is email. During your alloted Internet business work time, simply ignore any emails that are not new orders or relevant to your business operation. Whatever is not an email from a customer or a specific email you were waiting for, delete without opening.

This is how to prioritize your email reading: if it isn’t business, and it doesn’t help you with your business, it’s out of there with a click of your mouse. Peace of mind instantly, with no possibility to lure you back later. Think of it this way: would you allow salesmen to bid for your attention while you tried to work? No. So why should you let them have any time in your email box?

To further illustrate this point:

Imagine if you were a dentist and everyday when you walked into the office to work on someone’s root canal, you also found 2-10 salesman quietly standing in the same office, holding up signs with advertisements for their products. You’d kick them out in a second, wouldn’t you?

So why should you tolerate this kind of interruption in your Internet office where you conduct business, which is your email box? Delete those riff-raff without a second thought.

Focus, it’s all about focus on what you’re there for: to see if there are any orders or important customer questions. Everything else has no purpose being there in your email box.

If you find your regular job does not leave you with time to spend building an Internet business, you need to look at this in the right way: what you are doing now is a waste of your precious life—–you’re just prisoner to somebody else right now. You can’t even take one measly day off without permission.

At the present your life belongs to somebody else, somebody who treats you more like a juvenile delinquent than an adult. And the sad thing is you’re just making enough money to meet your bills.

Why let this continue, when you have the power to set yourself free if you’ll just invest the time into creating your own cash machine at home?

Set your priorities straight. Don’t say you don’t have the time to make a web business, tell yourself instead:

“Working for someone else is a waste of my time.
Taking the time to work on creating my own profitable web business, is a smart investment of time that can make me job free!”

So the most important factor to making your own home-based web business a reality is getting yourself to your work area. In other words showing up for work!

Once you “show up”, sit down and work for exactly the time you have decided ahead of time.

You might want to work beyond that hour, but if you are balancing this with a full-time job this is how you have to learn to pace yourself, because you don’t want to burn out. It is far better to stay within the assigned amount of time you decide to allocate everyday to building your Internet business, so you can get everything else done that you need to do in your life without feeling crushed.

After you meet your one hour for the day, give yourself a personal reward or treat, so that the next day when it is time to sit down and work, that part in you that rebels to having to sit down and work, will know that it is only for an hour and afterwards you will be free. And get a goodie too!

An hour is a manageable pace, one you can meet everyday—–even if you have to break it up into two half hour periods.

The creation of an entire web business seems like an overwhelming project, but if you break it down into small sections, you will be able to do it.

So, remember, motivate yourself, pace yourself, and never give up, and soon you will be opening your email inbox and finding it filled with orders for your products.
